Some New Commercial Work for 2009!

After a tiny little break it is back to work for me! We were getting some commercial work done today! Kennah did these sets for the new Spring '09 Cruise wear!

I will be sharing more tomorrow of my Dad's surprise Retirement party we had for him tonight! After 10 years as Jailer for our County he is retiring! Hmm I think I have found a new helper for me! LOL! He does plenty of running for me now! But with all this time on his hands I am sure he would love to help me out!

Merry Christmas from My Family to Yours!

Well, I am behind on posting my family shots! Sorry! But since I am finally caught up I wanted to share just a few of my family! My big girl, MaKayla, is a teenager now! Oh how it saddens me to see them grow up! But she is still Mommies baby girl!! She will of course be upset when she sees that I shared that one of here! LOL! But she is such a good girl! She is a tremendous help to me! She many times will watch the kids while I am working in the studio! Just a great kid! Thanks MaKayla! The twins, Konner & Kennah and my nephew Alex had their Christmas play last week at school! It was such a cute musical! Alex was a bell ringer! He did a great job! When he spotted me with the camera he was all smiles! Konner well his Daddy was so proud of him! LOL! His part was M is for Mistletoe give us a kiss! He stood on a stool and hung Mistletoe over Abigail's head and with a BIG smile he kissed her on the cheek! Of course I missed the shot of the big kiss! Someone walked right in front of the camera! I stood up to see it but did not get the shot! But he made us so proud! He has lost 3 teeth and I was thinking to myself how will they understand him saying that line! But he practiced everyday and he was perfect! Good job Konner! Little Kennah was in the pouting group! They were p is for pouting you better watch out! Instead of her looking like she was pouting she just stood there and smiled the whole time! LOL! Kids they are such a blessing! Mine keep me laughing all the time! To My Loyal Customers!!!

I wanted to take this opportunity to Thank all of my Loyal Customers from the bottom of my heart for a wonderful year photographing their loved ones! I have said this time and time again in my post but my success comes from above! For without God I am nothing! I am thankful for the outpouring of his blessings to me and my family! When I reflect over this last year the growth of my business is overwhelming! Never in my greatest dreams could I have imagined such loyal clients that God has brought my way! There are many photographers all over this country that I am in close contact with, and that are my dear friends, that are amazed at my growth in such a short time! My phone is still ringing everyday with people asking me to get them in for a session! I have received emails and calls on Christmas cards received from clients of mine that are already booking for next year season! As I was looking over my books, I had a whopping 62 sessions for November and one week in December that I opened up! I have some HUGE plans for this upcoming year! I need to send a HUGE thank you to my family for their support over this last month! I Love You ALL!!! I stand back in awe at all the Lord has done for me! Let us not forget this Christmas as we Celebrate with our friends and loved ones what Christmas is all about! For without God we all would be lost!

Sweet Baby Sean!!

Oh my what a doll baby! I could photograph this little one all day long! I would never get tired of seeing those big beautiful baby blues and those sweet expressions! I did Karen's wedding and I was thrilled when they called to bring little Sean in to have his Christmas session done! She said she has been telling everyone about me in Lexington! Thanks so much Karen it was great to see you again and meet little Sean! Now tell Mamaw Kathy to get that checkbook ready! I know you guys are going to have a hard time choosing from these! Chris & Jen's two little Angels!!

This is such a blessed family! I have taken Ian's picts over this last year a couple times and also did Jen's Maternity session back in the fall! Jennifer was counting down the days to come in and have her newest addition, India, and her families picts done! Her Mom laughed and said "she will probably come down the day she is released from the hospital"! What a little doll baby India is! This is such a wonderful Christmas gift for you all! Ian is such a great big brother! Thanks for your patience!!!

Two Precious Gifts from Above!!!

I love to see little Abi & Maddie! I did their picts in the fall! Twice! Heather wanted to do a special session for a Gina Alexander Bag, which I know she is waiting anxiously to come in! Any day now Heather! These little dolls are so sweet! It is always a treat to see them! I know you were dying to see these Heather! They did a great job!! As always!!! I was thinking of what to do for their card. That is what takes me the longest thinking of the perfect phrase to go with the image! And it hit me! The first Christmas gift! Christ! This has to be one of my favorite cards this season! Let us not forget the reason for the season! Why he came to earth to pay the ultimiate sacrifice for you and me!

This beautiful blue eyed little angel was so much fun!! She is so smart and just talked to me like she had knew me all her life! It was a pleasure meeting this family! They take a long time to paint but I love the finished product! They are classic heirloom portraits!

Sweet Baby Asher!!!!

Oh my I loved this session! He looks so precious in that hat! I could not wait to use it on him! Mike and Deidra came in the fall for her maternity session! Asher was born 4 weeks premature so we had to wait a little to do these! I was thrilled to see them all again and to meet little Asher! He is a little miracle from God! What a wonderful Christmas present you both received this year! Your little blessing! Ok I am counting down sessions just 7 more to edit! But things are slower on getting them done with all the orders coming in everyday to process and ones to have picked up! Yikes I need a vacation! LOL! You all know I am kidding! I LOVE doing what I do! I am very blessed to have such wonderful customers!!

Sweet little Addison!!!!!!!!!

Addison and I have developed a great bond over this year! When her mother first brought her to me she told me how she wanted her picture made every month of her first year! So Crystal has earned the frequent flyer miles, so to speak! It is always such a treat seeing them! I get asked all the time who is that baby on your website in that little white hat or who is that baby on your blog? It is Addi! She is so easy and so much fun to work with! And also a beautiful baby! I know Crystal LOVES these all! She let me know as soon as she saw these! One of the blessings of this business is meeting clients and seeing them return over and over again throughout the year! I get so many Happy Returning Customers! It has been a fabulous year!!! I thank God everyday for the growth and success he has given me with this business!

Mark & Lisa's Little Miracle!!!

Eleanor is such a little blessing! I have been honored to photograph this little angel since she was just a baby! Mark and Lisa are such wonderful parents! Tracy, my bff, always comes in and has me do her Christmas picts! We have so much fun! This year we ventured out to her families farm to shoot this session! Payne and Riley always do fantastic! Just perfect children to photograph! I miss Tracy and her family! But I know the are loving New Jersey!!!

Wow what beautiful girls Tim and Karen have! I can't get over how they have grown up!!! I taught 2 out of three of these girls piano! And man I feel old! LOL! They are not only beautiful but such sweet girls as well! It was a pleasure doing this session for you all!!!

When Mom called me she explained she would only be in to visit family on Thanksgiving. So everyone that knows me knows I want to help people! So I did this and another session on Thanksgiving! Rod & Linette's Little Treasures!!!

Oh my what beautiful little girls! I see so much of Rod and Linette both in them! And sweet little Toto is such an adorable dog! These little angels were so easy to photograph! I had the privilege of taking their portraits last year! It is always great to see these beautiful girls!
