Beautiful Baby Layla!

Layla was the sweetest baby!!! She was just so easy and fun to work with!! This has to be my favorite age! 6 months old and ready for anything I wanted to do! She as beautiful baby blues! Her Mom drove from Batavia, OH for this shoot and I was worried they would not make it this week due to weather but she made it and I am so glad she did! What a doll baby! You can see the sweetness in her in these images! I had a hard time just picking a few to share! All of her session was amazing!!! It was such a pleasure meeting you all and thanks so much for choosing KMK Photography to record this special time in your daughter's life!

Sharing a few from a Talented Russell Senior!

Here are a few from Catherine's senior session last week! Wow what a talented young lady! She is going to be auditioning for American Idol this summer and she has my vote! I think we will be seeing much more of this young lady in the future! I had a hard time picking my fav's Catherine is such a beautiful young lady and they all were great! New Commercial Work and a New Model

LaMista is so easy to work with and was thrilled to be a model for this shoot for some commercial work we are doing. This company manufactures these beautiful angel wings. This is the start of many angel wings! I was not expecting adult size ones to be coming so a big thank you to LaMista for modeling these for me! I will be doing the baby ones this week hopefully! Also, here are a couple dresses Kennah modeled. Biscotti is the green dress and the pretty polka dot one is by Kate Mack! Love both of these!!

Sweet Baby Titus!

Little Titus was such a delight! This family was so sweet and little Titus is just such a beautiful baby! OOh I just love those sweet expressions he made! Only 4 weeks old but wide awake! I love these baby sessions but they make me wish mine were this age again! It was such a pleasure meeting you all!!!

Next American Idol?

I had to post one sneak peek of this Russell Seniors session from yesterday! Catherine is going to be auditioning for American Idol this summer. I ask her to sing for me and she blew me away! What an amazing voice! I have many more to come from this session plus many more sessions as well! But just had to share one of this amazingly talented young lady!

Sweet Baby Brodi!

I had the privilege of photographing Brodi's Mom & Dad back in October at their Maternity session. This family drove all the way from Bardstown, Ky, a three hour drive, for his first portraits! Even though I did now know them before they started coming to my studio, I feel like I have known them my whole life! Little Brodi only 4 weeks old is such an alert little one! Shanna brought in some of her favorite things to be photographed with him. Her Dad's cowboy boots were among those special items! Love the hair this little one has! What a doll! This is such a beautiful family! Thanks guys once again it was a pleasure!!!

Prima Ballerinas Limited Edition Series

If you did not get my newsletter regarding the Limited Edition Series "Prima Ballerinas" here is the information on our latest Limited Edition Series. My intentions were to offer this series for the whole month of January! But since I was sick it delayed me some and then I became overwhelmingly busy this last week. So I am going to run this through February as well! However, I am still going to be offering my February Limited Edition Series as well, "Littlest Angels", which will be starting the 1st of February. Big Blue Eyed Baby Boy!!

Michael and those big blue eyes just melted my heart! He made sure to give me a hug and thank me before he left the studio! Which was the sweetest thing I have seen in a long time! He warmed up to me so well! It was such a pleasure meeting you all! Sorry for your delay! This weekend was a super busy one! 14 Session in 2 days! I have more sessions to post so keep checking in!

I have not been on my blog for a while! Sorry! I was sick with Strep throat for almost a week! Had to cancel session last week! But this week has been busy! Kennah Doing more Commercial work!!

It is hard to believe we are modeling Summer things when winter is just getting started here! It is funny Kennah will actually say "Can I wear that set to school tomorrow!" Uh, No not for several more months! LOL! What can I say the girl LOVES clothes, shoes and accessories! I do LOVE these little beaded shoes!

Sweet baby Maggie only 3 weeks old but bright eyed!

This sweet baby was such a doll!!! Little Maggie's Mom called soon after she was born to schedule her session I love to get the newborns in soon after birth! Normally they are sleepy! But sweet little Maggie was wide awake! I think she took her nap on her ride here from McDermott, OH. But that was fine with her Mom who said all she had was photos with her sleeping all the time! Maggie is a gorgeous little baby girl! It was such a pleasure meeting you all and having the opportunity to photograph your daughters first session! I look forward to working with you again!

HAPPY RETIREMENT DAD!!!

Well, we pulled it off! It was a total surprise for Dad when he arrived at the Court House for his retirement party! He served this county for 10 years as Jailer. Prior to his terms as Jailer my Dad worked for 35 years at AK Steel as a welder. The room was full of friends and family and as County Clerk Pat Hieneman said so well " the people you work with is your family". She went on to tell me how she loved my Dad and thought so highly of him. It showed last night how highly he was thought of with the outpouring of people that came to show their love and respect for my Dad! Over the years in his service as Jailer he reached hundreds of people with his testimony. As a Christian he witnessed to inmates in the jail and many of them after their release go to our church and are still serving the Lord today! He began a ministry within the walls of the Jail as soon as he took office. Through that ministry hundreds of souls have come to know the Lord. I pray that ministry will still continue on after he is gone! As my Dad said so well last night to all of his friends who have served this county with him, "there comes a time in every man's life when you just need to take more time to spend with your family." That is what he will enjoy spending time with us all! I will leave you with my one of Dad's favorite scriptures which he kept on his desk as Jailer.
